Cart Shipping
-
Print Packing Slip from the Label Printing Page - You can now print your label and packing slip from the same page after buying a label.
-
Product Details on Label Printing Page - Product image and variant information are now included on the label printing page for reference while packing an order.
-
New Merge Code for Items Not Yet Shipped - The ##PARTIALSHIPPINGITEMSNOTSHIPPED## merge code will display the items that have not yet shipped in an order that contains a partial shipment.
Permissions
We added several new permissions to give you greater control of your business:
-
Tax Manager - This permission allows your users to edit tax information on customers, orders and products.
-
Order Credit Card Auth Override - This permission is required if users want to override your gateway Auth and Capture setting if enabled. If your payments gateway is set to ‘Authorize and Capture’ your users and roles will need this permission enabled to ‘Authorize Only’ a manual transaction on an order.
-
Order Allow Apply Custom Payment - This permission is required if you want users to be able to ‘Apply’ payment from a custom payment method. Custom payment methods such as Net 30 terms or Checks are typically received offline so having controls on applying their payment to an order balance can help ensure you only apply payment to an order balance when payment is received.
-
Order Allow Apply Non-custom Payment - This permission is required if you want users to be able to ‘Apply’ payment for a regular payment method such as a Credit Card, or Apple Pay. Regular payment methods have payment captured manually in your processor such as Paypal, so having controls on applying their payment to an order balance can help ensure you only apply payment to an order balance when payment is received.
In a future release, we’ll update the user roles and permissions experience, naming conventions, and in-app descriptions so they are well structured and easier to understand.
