Restore DHL Express shipping integration for international shipments
DHL Shipping used to be supported. When shipping internationally, DHL offers options FedEx and UPS do not: The most important option is to make the receiver responsible for Customs and Duties costs. We have shipped UPS and FedEx, but their policy is that the Sender is ultimately responsible for all charges. International customers just ignore the FedEx or UPS bill and eventually the sender will be billed. For this reason, we currently disallow these 2 carriers for international shipments. DHL and the USPS are the only options for shipping internationally, so the receiver is held responsible for receiving charges.
Post Offices in some countries are as reliable as the Lottery. Bottom line, Americommerce offers no support currently for a carrier that will not enforce international receiver obligations. DHL and TNT offered this option. TNT no longer operates, leaving DHL as the only option.
A few years ago, Americommerce fully integrated with DHL, but this was discontinued. Please restore DHL to help us, your customers, sell more outside the USA, without being stiffed with unknown foreign charges and duties.
Thank you

We have not had any issues using UPS Worldwide and having customers responsible for the duty/tax, from feedback from customers, they are required to pay that before the packages are released to them. That being said, we are almost daily asked by international customers if we could support DHL as they prefer that over UPS.
