It's a nightmare keeping track of time when were using another companies time zone rather than our own. All the times in the ACP including order times, abandoned cart times, etc don't show our stores time, but instead show Americommerce's Server Time. Who cares about your server time, I only care about my stores time. It's really an inconvenience to not have my store in my time. It switches to the next day even though were still in the previous day. Orders placed today, would show tomorrow even though it's still today. This is just not right! Almost every website I have an account with uses each users time zone, especially important in commerce such as ebay. If Ebay allows it, wouldn't you think your own store on your own website should allow it? All you would have to do is give people the option to change their store time and have it default to central time therefore not affecting stores that want to stay on central time. This would not affect a single person and nearly every website, even forums, ask for a users time zone. It should be very simple to implement as most sites just use a drop down with the time zone options. Much like Americommerce's server time is important to them, our stores time is important to us and if we lived in Texas, it wouldn't matter. But were 2 individual entities that do not run the same times and are not even in the same time zones. Let's quickly vote this crucial feature into implementation. I submitted a ticket to support and they agree and do indeed plan to implement this feature in the future. However time is of the essence and time is not on our side when we have to wait till "sometime in the future." Isn't it about time we start using our stores time instead of depending upon Americommerce's Server Time?
