My invoice with 1 item prints on 2 pages because of the layout. why can't it print on 1 page, looks better/save trees

My invoice with 1 item prints on 2 pages because of the layout. why can't it print on 1 page, looks better/save trees. The way the layout is set up right now there is a lot of wasted space.  why can't they put the shipping addrees to the right of the billing address rather than below it?  does anyone know how to change this?
