Collapsible sections in order view
CompletedI think a small but useful feature addition could be to add the ability to have the sections in the order view modal be collapsible to provide faster access to the information further down such as payments, larger orders require lots of scrolling to get down there and that time sure adds up. perhaps some sort of side bar menu would be an alternative option as well.
Thanks for your consideration!

Second this one. Too much information on that page for it to not be collapsable.

Hey Colin and Brandon - we're going to make this better. Would either of you be open to meeting and reviewing some concepts we put together?

I'm certainly down to check it out. Feel free to call or email to set up a time!

Can you share the top 3-5 things you do on the order view and things you never do/view on the order view/edit?

- review notes and custom order fields
- add payments / shipments
- review/change products
my store never uses gifts but i'm sure others do, though I'd place that higher up on the order.
IMO, the most ideal scenario for ordering these sections I believe would be to have a feature which allows people to define their own order information screen, to hide sections they never need, and to change the order of sections in a fashion similar to the way one edits the order of menu items in the menus & navigation area.
Every shop's needs are different, americommerce generally excels with regard to this concept, with only a few acceptions.

I noticed in one of the recent layout changes in the admin interface that the comments /notes are now collapsed:

Which is fine, but there is no indication of if there is any content in those, so it is easy to miss a comment.

Hey Josh - that will be updated. The sections will be collapsable, but not collapsed by default like you're currently seeing.

That will be great when this is updated so the sections are not collapsed by default. We use private order comments a lot and it made our job more difficult when it became collapsed by default without even a flag to know if a private comment exists.
Another thing that would be great is if they could be collapsed and expanded by clicking on the text or triangle instead of having to click on the tiny triangle to the right of the text.
