Ability to group items in cart / checkout by shipping warehouse

We ship items from our warehouse and over 20 dropship warehouses.  It would be nice if we could at least group the items in the cart by the warehouse they are shipping from and allow the customer to choose the shipping method for that breakout group/warehouse, like Amazon.com does. 

It would also be nice if we could tell the system that all items from a given warehouse must use breakout shipping and define that breakout group at the warehouse level, rather than having to define that on an item by item basis.  For example, all items from certain warehouses can not ship via USPS, so we always use breakout shipping for those warehouses and we do not allow USPS to be chosen for items shipping from those warehouses.  It would be nice if this could be streamlines so we could configure breakout shipping and disable shipping providers/services at the warehouse level.

  I see this is marked complete, but I am not seeing anything on how to use it or where these settings are.
