Our current reason we want to be able to filter orders by rewards used/spent is on orders declined / canceled and the customer used rewards points as payment on the order. The rewards points do not get refunded in these cases, so we have to go refund them manually. Currently there is no way to filter the orders by declined/canceled and for orders with a payment method of RewardsPoints. I am looking at creating a custom API call to report orders in that state to us, but that ability seems like it should be built in.
After I created this request, I realized that there is currently no way to filter by any payment method used on an order. There have been multiple times in the past when we needed to contact all customers who ordered between certain dates and used PayPal or Visa. If we could filter orders by payment method that could also cover orders where rewards were spent.
