Placeholder shipment on new orders - Remove or Update
When a new order is created a placeholder shipment is automatically generated. This has created issues especially with customer invoices.
Common Occurrence:
Team member updates placeholder shipment but forgets that the ship-date populated is not the current day, but rather the original order date 😱
I suggest the auto-generated shipment be removed completely, or at the very least have the shipment date update to the current day when in edit mode.
