Ability to Restrict/Permit certain payment types to a Customer Type

If we had the ability to have this with a specific customer type, it would help with scalability beyond just manually adjusting for each customer.

We have Commercial customers who use Purchase Orders, and regular customers who we'd like to enable Credit Cards and disable P.O. as a payment method.

  So, if we have this right, in this case you'd just like to set a customer type as 'Commercial' and allow some payment types to be visible to that type (such as PO).  We assume doing this per customer is too cumbersome so you'd prefer to do it at the customer type level and then just assign the customer type to the customer record (which still requires visiting the customer record).  Do we have this correct?
