Handling Fees to be combined with Shipping NOT displayed as a separate item

We have certain items that due to their size/weight have extra handling fees, when we added them to the item they are shown in the shopping cart/checkout as a separate line item.

We would like the handling fee to be part of the shipping because we have clients calling us all the time to ask why are we charging more or to waive the handling fee or they think we are just cheating on the price by adding an extra handling fee for no reason.

As a feature request we would like the option to have a checkbox in the Shipping Settings to have the handling fees to be added to the shipping instead of a separate line item.
