We would like to see an Option to Auto-Change Customer Type for Subscription Orders.
The Customer Type is basically worthless to us as we really don't use it, but it could be useful if you give store owners the option to Auto-Change the Customer Type for subscription orders. I was very surprised this was not possible using the rule engine.
According to support, this is all that can currently be done:
You can change a customer type based on a product/category in order, but there's not an explicit rule that checks if a product is a subscription or not.
This setup would not work because customers can order products without subscribing and most do.
