Status Update: AmeriCommerce Server Migration, July 13th at 11 PM CDT - July 14th 7 AM CDT

Overview: 

On the date above, Rackspace will be upgrading all AmeriCommerce servers to the most updated data center that Rackspace has to offer. This upgrade entails a mandatory migration by Rackspace that must be performed on the date above and may cause up to 8 hrs of downtime. In an extremely rare process like this, we are lucky to have experienced and skilled professionals running the transfer who have done this thousands of times and we are the last group moving to help ensure a smooth transition.

The anticipated upgrade comes with an improved environment with all new equipment, faster and more resilient access to the datacenter backplane and more space to grow. We will be receiving more server cabinet space and new advanced cooling technologies which produces higher speeds and better resilience. We will also be getting a new buffed up, over-powered firewall to speed connections to and from our servers. This means your data will be more secure than ever which we know is important for you and your clients.
