Clone Discount Codes (PD-16426)

I would like to be able to clone a discount / coupon code.  We use lots of coupons for specific sales or trade shows, and we have to start from scratch every time we want to create a new code.  I would like to be able to use an existing coupon code we already have set up, clone it, and change the text that a customer needs to input to apply that discount to their cart.  

For example:  If I have a code set up for the customer to enter "SALE10" to get 10% off a certain product, I shouldn't have to start over to create one that says "SALE15" for the same product, but a 15% promotion.

I know this feature exists in many other online shopping carts.  Creating a new coupon code that behaves exactly like another one I already have should only take me about 30 seconds, not 5-10 minutes and 10+ screens.

  Hi Steve,

  We have added the ability to clone discounts for you! You can now clone any type of discount, including discounts that use coupon codes. This feature is available in version 2019.1.1316.1 or higher. Thanks for the suggestion!
