Simply the rewards points program will add the points to your customers account - but if you have anything set up where reviews, or blog posts get moderated like we do - it gives the customer the points regardless if you approve it or not. So our customers get 15 points for a blog comment, they could fill in 5 blank blog posts and get the points regardless if we approve it or not.
It also doesn't take points away if an order is cancelled - it leaves them in the customers account.
This has proved to be an issue for us and SparkPay wants a custom development to fix it.(hmmmm IDK)
