Inventory Notification triggered via API of 3P Inventory App

Currently, the system automatically sends a product availability notification when any inventory changes are made that may affect an out of stock product in the Americommerce system. These can be triggered by an order changes or cancels. This can, sometimes, trigger the notifications even though the items are not actually available.  

This could be resolved if we have the option to only trigger notifications after inventory is updated via an API call to the 3rd inventory management system.
