Option to set default for "Show Sub Products"

Whenever a new category is created, it defaults to NOT show products from a subcategory on the parent category. We generally ALWAYS want it to do so and create new categories in bulk via imports.

It would be ideal for us to have a store setting that lets you determine if this is set to true or false as a default instead of the system always setting it to false and requiring a user to export categories, modify value and import back in.

Simple checkbox in the Settings > Catalog section would suffice (Show Sub Products By Default)

  Agreed; sounds like it'd be a great quality-of-life uptick for store owners who lean heavily on data imports for category management
