Product variant setup that is user friendly and fast

The method for setting up variants/options in Americommerce are extremely cumbersome and labor intensive, especially compared to my old platform BigCommerce. It makes no sense to create a Variant Group that is not even a group but just a name, and for each product one must add values to the group, especially when one has over a hundred shoes with variants as well as many other variant dependent products.

In BigCommerce you begin with an Option Group where you add all possible options for that group type, for example Shoe colors.

I would then make another group of Shoe sizes.

both of these groups can be used to build specific Option Sets for each product.

So for each shoe I create a set, select both groups above and then edit which colors and which sizes are available for that shoe by checking and unchecking boxes.

I don't have to type in all the variant values each time because they are already created.

From there it even has an Auto SKU generator that will take whatever elements you want from the groups (you can customize how they look or what value will be generated) and it automatically creates Subproducts for you.

it is seriously amazing and it would make Americommerce much more user friendly for people with a lot of products with variants.
