Sticky payment types for Subscription customers
I have employees, customer reps, and family members on Subscription to receive free products. This is currently allowed on the initial subscription order, but is DISALLOWED for subsequent reorders.
As a result of this limitation, EVERY subsequent re-order on subscription fails and must manually be entered. This does not make any sense. The fact that I have to pay for the limitation "correction" is irritating. I cannot believe that I am the only Americommerce customer with this problem.
When a subscription is created, and has a discount applied, (such as the product is free).
- Have discount that was applied to the subscription at time of original order, applied to all renewals
- Be able to set it by customer type: For example, employees get a free subscription for a product, set the customer type, and discount / price modification on the subscription.

It does not seem to me that you would want all subscriptions to always apply a discount code for every subsequent cycle of the subscriptions. For example, you may only want to offer a discount that gives 1/2 off the first months subscription, not 1/2 off every subscription cycle. I can see having a setting either in the subscription setup or maybe in the discount code setup that allows you to CHOOSE to apply the coupon to all future subscription cycles.
