Fixed an issue where alert messages could be triggered more than once for the same thing.

E.g., If a store was configured to display an alert message when an item was added to the cart, a user added an item to their cart, and then the user clicked on the "update quantities" button in the minicart without leaving the page they were on the "item added to cart" message would pop up again.
