Update Inventory has been added to the data import tool. The Update Inventory import provides a way to update common things like stock, weight, status, and pricing for products and product variant inventory.

Updating a Product: Updating a product can be done by providing at least one of the four lookup fields available.

The Product's stock can either be set, incremented, or decremented based on one of the three stock fields you set.

The Product's pricing information can be set by using one or more of the three pricing fields. You can also choose to use advanced pricing, which if turned on, will set the first advanced pricing entry found for the product to the pricing fields specified. If no advanced pricing field is found, a new one will be created.

Updating a Product Variant Inventory: Updating a product variant inventory can be achieved by providing at least one of the two lookup fields available. If you specify a Product Variant Inventory, all imported fields will update only the Product Variant Inventory, the parent product will not be effected.
