FEATURE: 2013.5 - Blog commenting notification

Now, when a new comment is posted to a blog, the commenter is subscribed to that post and will receive notifications about all future comments to that blog post. This behavior is configurable for each blog:



The "Blog Comment Notification Email" setting will determine which email template to send for the notification and by default includes a link to allow the commenter to unsubscribe from further notifications for that post.

If the "Send Notifications For New Comments" setting is false, regular commenters will not receive notifications when new comments are posted.

The author of a blog post, and all order alert emails, receive a notification for all new comments (configured by the Blog Comment Admin Notification Email setting) even if the "Send Notifications For New Comments" setting is turned off. This is so that the author and/or store owners can review the post and reply or moderate the comment as necessary. Blog post authors cannot unsubscribe from notifications for their post.

In the event that moderation is enabled for the blog, notifications to other commenters will not be sent until the post is approved in the admin console.
