FEATURE: 2012.6 Create Multiple Coupons With 1 Discount Method

Coupon codes and discounts can be a powerful driver of sales… Now you can enjoy further flexibility with “Campaign Coupons”.

This 2012.6 feature will allow you to create 1 discount method, and assign multiple coupon codes to it, along with several other convenient and time saving features.

Create a Coupon Campaign from the new, filterable Coupon Code List screen:

Add 1 coupon code at a time and specify settings

OR Generate multiple coupons at the same time with the
"Campaign Generator" button:

The Coupon Code List screen's Action menu allows for bulk activation,
deactivation, deleting, & exporting of codes:

Hidden/Visible status does not alter storefront usage, only visibility on the list. To see/hide codes marked hidden, toggle the Show Hidden checkbox filter and click Search:

Black Friday coupons are checked in the grid and then using the Action->Set Active menu option will toggle the coupons' Active flag.

The new coupons are useless without their accompanying discount setup. When creating a discount method from the existing screen, a new Discount Rule type "Campaign Code" has been added. Set the Target of the rule to the Campaign you created:

Now, all of the Coupon Codes for that Campaign will trigger this discount method and give the customer a 10% discount off the total. You can also couple this new rule with any of the existing rules and actions to create many different types of coupon discounts.

The customer's order will also now track the Campaign Code for the Coupon used on the Order and it is now an available column on the Order Manager list:
