FEATURE: Variant Swatch Improvements

In AmeriCommerce 2010.6 choosing swatch images got much easier.

With dropdown type variant groups you can now:

• Assign a specific image url to variants right from the variants tab of the product editor.
• If there is no specified url the system will attempt the previous method of auto-association.
• 

On the product details page you can now

• Select a variant simply by clicking on the related swatch image.
• Have the swatch be highlighted by selecting the variant in the dropdown box.
• 

The selected swatch can be styled with the class “ProductDetailsSelectedVariant”

To display swatches add this merge code to your product details layout:
##VARIANTPICMATRIX[groupname=Color,maxcol=2,width=30]##, replace the variables with those that correspond to your variant group and desired settings.
