related & accessory items different plugins (4)

we need to treat accessories and related items differently. Accessories should have a qty box and add to cart button to allow them to be added to cart with main product on page. current related item functionality is fine for 'similar' items

  I like this as well, although couldn't this be accomplished with Product Groups? Our issue is the lack of variation support for Product Groups. (http://vote.americommerce.com/forums/25843-feature-ideas/suggestions/1157945-product-group-variations)
