  Similar to discontinuing a product...should be removed from site, search, sitemap.

  this is essential. We might have 50 products under 1 manufacturer and that manufacturer cannot ship anything for 6 months, so back orders are not even appropriate. we NEED to be able to Hide the manufacturer until he can ship again.
