The US Postal system uses Zip+4 to speed sorting and improve delivery times. As we all know, shipping time is one of the biggest customer satisfaction issues we must contend with as online stores. Join with me in voting for Americommerce to support zip+4 and almost painlessly increase our customersatisfaction ratings!

  We currently support the collection of this data, it is a store setting. This was added to 2011.2 as a setting, but is available in 2010.7+ as a manually applied setting. However, it 'requires' the +4 part, which is not ideal in my opinion.

  We are going to split the setting into 2, 'show zip plus 4' and a separate 'require zip plus 4".

  no longer important if using a 3rd party shipping tool (which just about everyone uses now in 2015) it's better to let the shipping systems do the lookup. can not trust customers with this.
