UPDATE: 2014.4 - Notification Icon

The Notifications icon is finally wired up in the me bar!

There is a new notifications page that displays Site Notifications, Release History, and AC News and AC Blog posts. 

The page will show the 5 latest Site notifications and 4 latest AC News and Love Your Store Blog posts, and a bunch of release history (however many the RSS feed sends back) 

Notifications are marked read per user. (same as old notifications system) In other words, each user may have a different notification count for all the same notifications.
Clicking Read More on the notifications will mark that notification as read and fade it out some.

Release History posts open in a new tab. After opening a post, it will be marked as read (also per user) and greyed out. Release History posts with a "feature" tag will be highlighted in blue.

Unread ones are bold/black, Read are normal/grey.

Notification View 

Notification bell will shake whenever a new notification comes in.
