Price Range Slider for narrowing down products

It would be great if Americommerce could develop and implement this neat feature - a price range adjustment selector that narrows down products based upon the price.   This should also be tied into the attribute system to allow for min/max thresholds to be set for a numeric value attribute (such as size on our website)
