"New Order / Phone order" Page efficiency improvements (44)
CompletedCurrently, entering a phone order requires typing the customer first and last name FOUR times. In 97% of orders, these four names will be the same. I appreciate the fact that you have allowed for these names to be different, and that could be important in some cases. However, each of us has only so many hours, minutes, and seconds in a work-day. Efficiency is important! PLEASE consider integrating a checkbox which would be checked by default which would apply what ever customer name is entered into the "Bill to" field to all other name fields. If a different name is then entered into another name filed, then allow that name to override the default that would have been used from the bill to field. Every cart (including AC) built since the stone ages has this functionality on the customer checkout side - it would sure be great if we could get it on our end. Others please add your support for this!

I agree. It seems silly to have go retype names so many times. I also wish that with existing customers when search for and found, that the store would switch automatically to match the customer account. 0 -
The current manual order entry page is very inefficient and highly error prone for Call Center use. There needs to be a more efficient work flow. Additionally flow should be entirely keyboard driven with no use of the mouse by the rep taking the order. Work flow suggestion: - Choose store - Add items to cart - This should happen prior to taking customer information should their desired item be out of stock - Add customer information - Confirm order information, billing, shipping, items, total and shipping - Take payment information - Submit order - Order status should automatically be set to approved payment status - System should auto reset for rep to start over for a new call/order 0 -
