Email notification on back In-Stock items (100)

We'd like to be able to automatically send an email notification out to our customers who wish to be notified when an item is back in stock. This would need to be robust enough so that customers have the options to decide when they receive an email and be able to unsubscribe when they wish to do so. Also, it'd be nice if customers had an option to receive a one time only email notification which the system would then automatically unsubscribe them from the list after the email is sent.

I've see this on a site which has this function. It's a great feature to capture lost sales. There's a button link which says Notify me when it's back in stock. Would love to see this as well. 0 -
Its a great feature.. we actually built one for ourselves; it's all driven on our customer database, but will serve up an expected back in stock data as well, as long as vendor has provided it to us.
