id like to see the option to add a block in the checkout somewhere that lets your customers hit like for your facebook page and get a discount once. it would really increase facebook likes for facebook storefornt :)

  i think it would be most enticing if you could say get 5 dollars off this purchase by hitting like. then it could be recorded in that buyers account that the like has been used. or for the most security it could mark that particular facebook account as used as well, and maybe the ip address , whatever it takes to ensure that the customer can only use it once. or a pre determined amount of times set my the site owner. maybe a spot to choose 1 time , 2 times, or whatever or unlimited use

  also you could offer a like button addon for every product and allow them to get a discount on each item by likeing the particular product, that way everything they buy they have to share with all their facebook friends. thats alot of exposure

  I would love to see this set up!! We were just talking about it in the office yesterday. It would be the best use of money for advertising that I can think of.

  i think the addition this should be robust in order to allow different merchants to use this in different ways. for example you could say i just want a like button at check out, or you could require them to hit like on your home page to get the discount in checkout, or tell people they have to like every product in their cart to get the discount, or whatever works for that particular merchant. the discount rules area could allow for some very creative uses of this. and then you just need a admin field that lets you check the areas you want a fb like button to appear. and then choose if and when or how you want the discount applied. this needs to be useful for everyone. so scalability and customization is key here
