Allow the use of multiple coupons (7)

There are instances where we would like to allow the customer to use more than one coupon. For example a Free Shipping coupon coupled with either an item or quantity coupon. While we can do a modified version of this creating a Free Shipping discount (not a coupon) having the feature of dated coupons makes that more appealing.

  I can't believe this system doesn't allow me to offer coupons from category A in conjunction with coupons from category B. Could you imagine going to a grocery store and being told "sorry, only 1 coupon per checkout?"

  I need this for my stores as well. I need to allow my customer to use multiple "strict" coupons (or coupon codes) as well. Please add this feature. Right now when you apply the 2nd coupon code it erases the first discount. This will frustrate customers. Please help!
