last four digits of credit card (26)

Most customers don't mind their credit cards saved, but it's standard practice now to so show only the last four digits of the credit card - both in the admin panel and the front-end panel.

  In mergecode: ##PAYMENTMETHODWITHAMOUNTS## - will render not just the payment method names, but the amount of each payment method in parenthesis. Example: Credit Card (50.00), Gift Certificate (25.00) THIS is the perfect place for this... Instead of: Credit Card (50.00), Gift Certificate (25.00) It should be: Visa-5678 (50.00) etc... If I had 50 more votes I would pile on for this.

  Curious. Why is seeing the card type and last four important?
