Overview
When a customer checks out on the site and the card is declined for any reason using an order setting you can now have it re-direct the customer to the one page checkout to re-try their card or use a different card.
Enabling declined re-direct
To enable this setting, navigate to your dashboard and then go to your Settings -> Orders -> General tab.
Once there you will scroll down to find an option labeled, "Return To Checkout Page When Order Is Declined"
Once you see this option you will want to select the checkbox under it and then select Save at the top right of your screen.
What will the customer see?
The customer will enter in their card information and proceed to process the transaction, the API call will be made to the gateway service to process the transaction. If a declined status is returned the page will appear to re-fresh with an error at the top, giving the error message returned by the gateways API.
