Overview
This article contains frequently asked questions and setup instructions in regards to the Chase/Wepay Gateway. Including Processing times, Rates, and other general questions about the Wepay Merchant Center.
WePay was acquired by JPMorgan Chase in December 2017. WePay has replaced the WePay name with the Chase name in their solution. However, you may still see some references to WePay in the on-boarding experience and in the emails that you receive. Over time, you will see fewer mentions of WePay and more references to Chase.
NOTE: If testing your gateway, use small transactions between $1 - $5 to prevent self payments flagging your account for suspicious/high risk activity.
