Overview
The new Dashboard Widgets provide quick access to essential business metrics. Users can easily switch between dashboards such as Sales, Traffic, Marketing, and Products, making it simple to analyze performance at a glance. The dashboard is fully customizable, allowing users to add, remove, or rearrange widgets to suit their needs. This guide covers how to access, customize, and maximize the use of these widgets.
Accessing Dashboard Widgets
- Log in to your account and navigate to the Dashboard.
- Use the drop-down menu at the top to switch between different dashboard views:
- Sales: Tracks revenue, sales trends, and top-selling products.
- Traffic: Displays page views, traffic analytics, and sources.
- Marketing: Shows campaign performance and conversion rates.
- Products: Provides insights into product performance, including bestsellers.
- Each dashboard contains widgets that display key metrics.
Customizing Your Dashboard
You can Customize your Dashboard in a few ways.
- Click the Dashboard Selector Dropdown button on the dashboard.
- Select the option for "Default Custom"
- Check or uncheck widgets to add or remove them from your view.
- Drag and drop widgets to rearrange their positions.
- Click Save to apply changes.
You can also create a new Dashboard with your choice of name, and then add your choice of widgets.
- To do this, click the 'gear' icon to the right of the dashboard select drop down
- Then select "Create Dashboard"
- From here you can add and rearrange your widgets.
- Click Save to apply changes
Widget Descriptions:
Top Products Widget
- Located under the Products tab.
- Displays the top 5 best-selling products based on sales data.
- Helps quickly identify trending items.
Store Sales Overview
- Located under the Sales tab.
- Tracks total sales for various timeframes (daily, weekly, yearly).
- Provides an overall snapshot of store performance.
- For those who prefer the old Bar Chart style of display, you can edit your sales widgets, scroll to the bottom of "View Options" and in "Chart Display Type", select "Column/Bar"
Sales by Traffic Source Widget
- Located under the Sales tab.
- Breaks down revenue sources by traffic channel (organic, paid, social, etc.).
- Helps identify which marketing channels drive the most sales.
Page Views Widget
- Located under the Traffic tab.
- Displays the top viewed pages on your website.
- Useful for tracking content popularity and user engagement.
Top Shipping Methods Widget
- Located under the Shipping tab.
- Highlights the most frequently used shipping methods.
- Helps optimize fulfillment strategies and shipping costs.
Rewards Point Overview Widget
- Located under the Rewards tab.
- Displays expiring points, points earned, and total products purchased with points.
- Helps manage and track customer reward program activity.
