Requirements
The Storefront Impact Radius app requires you to configure a Sales Event. You can find documentation on configuring the sales event here: https://integrations.impact.com/impact-brand/docs/integrate-with-magento#step-1-event-type-configuration
NOTE: This documentation is written for Magento, but the steps are the same for configuring the event.
You will receive a Sales Event ID once you have completed the Sales Event configuration. This ID is required for configuring the app in Storefront.
Integration Steps
- Navigate Impact Radius app by clicking on the Tools menu in the left menu, then selecting Apps & Addons.
- Scroll down the list of Apps & Addons and select Impact Radius.
- Click the Integration Active selector at the top of the page to Active.
- Add the Sales Event ID you received from configuring the event in Impact Radius into the Impact Track Event ID.
- Add currency code, if needed. The default value if left empty is USD.
- If necessary, add a default product category in the Default Category field. This is generally not necessary if all products have been configured properly and added to applicable product categories.
- There are 2 settings that are available for Administrators only, Do No Send Conversion Data and Do Not Send Logged In Customer Data. These 2 settings will almost never be turned on. They are for testing purposes only. Contact our Technical Support team before turning on these settings.
