Integration Setup
To integrate your cart.com online store with Shipper HQ, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Enable Live Rates in Cart.com
In your cart.com online store, follow these steps to enable a shipping provider's live rates:
- Go to Settings > Shipping > Shipping Providers.
- Click the Pencil icon next to Shipper HQ to edit it.
- Check the Active checkbox and click Save.
Step 2: Obtain Shipper HQ API Credentials
If you don't already have a Shipper HQ account, visit https://shipperhq.com/ to sign up for an account and complete the setup process. Select, cart.com as your platform and follow the prompts to create your account. Once you have an account, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Shipper HQ account at https://shipperhq.com/.
- Click on the Websites option.
- Locate and edit your pre-configured website and find the API Key value under basic settings.
- Copy the API Key value.
- On the same settings page, click the Generate new Authentication Code button.
- A popup with the Authentication Code will appear. Copy the value of the Authentication Code.
- Paste the API Key and Authentication Code into the respective fields on the settings page of your cart.com online store.
Step 3: Configure Pre-Setup Carriers
In your Shipper HQ account at https://shipperhq.com/, you will find pre-configured carriers such as FedEx, USPS, and more. These carriers are ready to use and can be configured based on your shipping needs. Step 4: Configure HS Codes, Freight Class, and other Attributes.
Harmonized System (HS) Codes are commonly used throughout the export process for goods. The Harmonized System is a standardized numerical method of classifying traded products. It is used by customs authorities around the world to identify products when assessing duties and taxes and for gathering statistics. Attributes can be applied to the product by navigating to Catalog > Products > Edit > Shipping
Note: These fields are only present when Shipper HQ is active.

Issue: Shipping rates not appearing
If the shipping rates from Shipper HQ are not appearing during the checkout process, try the following:
- Make sure that the live rates feature is enabled in your cart.com settings.
