    Empty Shopping Cart

Is there a way to eliminate that message that appears when someone's shopping cart is empty ( the message about Cookies ). My client would like to customize that (or simply eliminate it) if possible.

    Re: Empty Shopping Cart

I don't think you can get rid of the page, but you can change what it says.

It's under Store Text & Languages.  Pull down to ShoppingCart_ShoppingCartEmpty_string and then you'll be able to customize the text however you'd like.  Mind now says:

    Your Shopping Cart Is Empty

Thank you for shopping with us!

If there's anything we can do to make shopping more pleasant, please let us know.

    Re: Empty Shopping Cart

I'm experiencing the same issues. I know for a fact I'm losing sales as a result. We need this page customized or removed. Clicking on continue shopping, and adding the the item to the cart again seems to prevent the shopper from running into this issue. I ALWAYS have my browser set to accept cookies, yet I still run into this page (pasted below) quite often when test the shopping experience on my site. We use the add to cart generated button. Please help AmeriCommerce!

    Re: Empty Shopping Cart

What would you have us do instead, the empty cart text is 100% customizable thru the store text module as Heather mentioned.  That is the default text because not everyone has cookies enabled, although it is true that almost everyone does these days or at least has a mechanism in their browser to hold temporary cookies while on the website.  So, personally I do prefer heather's text that she changed it out with.

We are open to suggestions but just feel that all needed levels of customization are there, you can even personalize the message with site merges and customer merges and such.
