    SEO help

I have several websites, all of which are on Google Adwords.  One of them, www.NoPins4Baby.com, I've had for 1.5 years and it still doesn't have the sales I think it should, compared to my other stores.  When I look through the analytics on Adwords, I see some interesting things.

The ads for this store were identical to my main store.  The ads for my main store (www.ClothDiaperOutlet.com) receive HALF the impressions as NoPins, but more than TWICE the click-throughs.  The only difference, literally, was the website address shown in the ad.  This has me wondering...do people not like to see a numeral in the website address?  I also own the domain nopinsFORbaby.com and I'm thinking of switching.  Changing nothing at all about the store except the website address.

SEO-wise...is this a better option?  Should I leave it alone?  I have a support ticket in about this and they suggested it might better to have the nopinsFORbaby but they also thought I should ask here to see what others (Jason in particular) thinks.

    Thanks for any advice!

the # in the url (in my opinion) is less professional, howeve rI cannot be sure that the other people exposed your your address feel the same way and do not click on it. SEO wise, you are always best to have your most tarrgeted keywprd/phrase in your sites url.

In terms of adword s(whic hhas nothing to do with SEO)... if your nopins4baby site is getting twice as many impressions and half as many click throughs then the quality score for this ad would be lower, hence costing you more money to be in the same position (or the same money to be in a lesser position). This would impact how many people are clicking on those ads as well.

If you do decide to change the domain, make sure to get a sitemap of all of your urls from the nopins4baby site and map them directly to teh same product/category/content page on the new site so you do not lose any seo benefit the old site may have had

The reason your cloth diaper domain gets much better click through in Adwords is because it has diaper in the name.  Not only will the word diaper be bolded when someone uses it in a search but it tells the person exactly what you sell.  Yes, the other name is clever but it isn't literal.  Literla names often work much better in Adwords because then people know exactl what they are clicking on.

Thank you!  Both ideas make sense.
