The majority of the merge codes that you have added to you content page will not function on content pages as they were not designed to.  These merge codes were designed to aid in the customization of product and category page layouts. They will function if placed inside a custom HTML snap-in added to a category or product in the catalog itself or placed inside the Product page type custom Layout found inside the theme manager.  The merge codes are designed to pull product, category, manufacturer, order, or customer information out of the database and display it. However in order for them to work they have to be placed in specific locations so that the software can tell the merge code what information to pull out and display. 

Content Pages are for informational and communication purposes, they were never intended to function as or substitute for a product page.  Your account manager will be contacting you in order to help determine your ultimate goal, at which point we will be able to help you create a solution.
