I'm a new Americommerce.com customer. I also have a site on MonsterCommerce.com which I am thinking of moving over. My new site on AC.com uses a drop shipper which requires that I dump new orders to a dedicated drop box at their ftp site rather than send them an email. The AC.com system obviously does not include this functionality and I was hoping their might be other AC.com cart users interested in splitting the dev costs for someone to write an automated application or script to do this for us.
If you are interested, please drop me a line and perhaps we can gang up in RevShare to split the development costs. What I'm looking to accomplish is:
1) Have the application check my website for new orders
2) extract the shipping and item information from the order
3) plug the data into a text file and save it with my order number
4) ftp the order up to an ftp site of my choosing
5) update the cart that the order is "Pending Shipment"
Might also be nice to be able to have the app extract order tracking information from the drop shipper and plug that back into the AC.com cart so I am free to just deal with "trouble orders" or customer service.
Your thoughts?
