Store Locator software

    Store Locator software

    I've been trying to integrate Zipwise store locator software into my website and it's just not working.  Does anyone know of a good store locator software?  This is for my wholesale store, so I need a way to show where customers can buy my products.  I've always made my retailer list manually, but now that I have so many retailers, it's a big job to constantly update it manually.

    I did finally figure this out, if anyone is curious.  You need to use iframes.  There's a Knowledgebase article that explains pretty well how to do this.  I could only get it to work in Internet Explorer and tech support helped to finish it so it works in all browsers.

    Wanted to follow up on this post.  Can any additional information about implementing the store locator be provided here?  samples, KBs, etc.

    The article described how to use an iFrame, but I can't find the article now.  I think they've maybe changed it.  This is similar and might be helpful: http://www.americommerce.com/kb/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=110
     
    Here's how it is on my site: http://www.knickernappies.com/store/pg/65-Where-to-buy.aspx.  The top part, where the zip code box is, is the third party locator.  The bottom of the page (international retailers) is my own content that I've added manually through AC's custom content pages.

    Not sure which one you are trying to setup or what is involved - but typically calling it in thru an iframe tag would work. You may find this knowledgebase article helpful: http://www.americommerce.com/kb/?f=110

    You can start with the above link and if you need assistance, please drop me a line thru the support ticket system. Maybe we can use your setup as an example and create a knowledgebase article with that for future reference.
