Due to recent FedEx changes, if you use negotiated rates or need your specific meter number for obtaining FedEx shipping rates, you will need to obtain a new meter number.

You will be redirected to the following page:

Find the highlighted Technical Resources link and click it.
You will be asked to log in:
After logging in with your FedEx.com account information, you will be taken to this page:

You will now be taken to this page:

Fill in the specified information in the highlighted fields and then click “Continue”. You will be taken to this page:

Click “I Accept” to agree to the terms and conditions for FedEx, and you will then be taken to this page:

You will see your new meter number in the highlighted section. NOTE: you will need whatever meter number that FedEx provides, this meter number is for instructional purposes only.
Write this information down and/or save it, because it will not be displayed again.
Now, you can take this new meter number and put it in your Americommerce Admin Console.
Go to Global Settings->Shipping Settings->Shipping Providers.

Enter your new meter number under the Password field for the FedEx record. Click Save. Note that your shipping account number will not change.
That’s it!
